When Spring arrives it can be tricky to work out what to wear each day. The weather gets warmer so I tend to get a bit over excited and start bringing back my summer dresses into the outfit cycle. However, the weather always turns again. Some days it’s quite cool and I’m left regretting my bareleggedness!
I think it’s a smart idea to become an avid weather watcher during Spring. It’s also rather handy to have a couple of pairs of great pants on hand so that you can adapt them to the temperature by adding or subtracting layers from your top half and changing your shoes to suit.
Philosophy Australia has a fantastic selection of pants. They’re well known for their fit and quality. In business language, it’s their core competency. They know how to design styles for a range of women’s bodies. They just know pants. Each season they bring out new styles but their best sellers remain.
Here are three great styles from the Philosophy range which are perfect for Spring:
Pants 1: The Packer in Ink
These navy pants are a classic straight style with a standard length. The viscose elastane blend gives a comfortable and flattering stretch and the thick elastic waistline makes them a dream to pull on and off.
The super feature of these pants however is the inside secret lycra panel just below the waistline. It gives a firmer fit to that mummy tummy area and provides an extra smoothness which never goes astray. Genius
I love wearing navy with white or with pastels and bright colours. These pants would be perfect for work or a more dressy occasion too.
Pants 2: The Simpler 7/8 in Checks
The 7/8 length of these pants is great for Spring. Showing off that sneaky hint of ankle draws the attention to an area which is slim and dainty – bonus. They work with strappy sandals, closed in heels or even a cute pair of sneakers / slip-ons for a more casual look.
Like the Packer pants above, the fabric is thick with some stretch and the elastic waistband sits nice and high. Seriously the comfort is amazing. These pants are great when paired with a looser top to contrast with the firmer fit in the leg area. And aren’t the checks a fun alternative to just a plain block colour. They also come in a polkadot print.
Pants 3: The Weapon in Gunmetal
I think it’s great to have a few pairs of more classic pant styles but if you’re looking to incorporate some new season trends, these lightweight sheen pants are perfect. With the elasticised cuffs and side zip pockets, they have an edgy look which works well as the hero feature of an outfit.
Worn with a plain top and heels, you could wear these pants out to dinner or to work. With some flat slides, you’re totally set for the weekend. And how good is the name of these pants by the way.
How is your pants situation looking for spring? Which of these styles is your favourite?
