There’s so much to love about a winter dress. Girly, pretty, sexy, dressy, comfy, easy! I love the way a dress eliminates the decision about what top to wear with what pants! It’s just one decision and then you get to play around with the additions like tights, belt, scarf and jacket. For me, wearing a dress in winter is a welcome change from all the days I wear jeans. I like to wear them for both work and for mum duty days and I like a variety of styles – shirt dress, knit dress, tunic dress – I love them all! So in today’s moodboard I’ve included a variety of styles, fabrics and prints and most are under $100.

Which one is your favourite? I recently bought number 6 and am planning to share how I wear this as part of the Style It Project. The lovely Kimba from Kimba Likes runs this fun project where she chooses an item each month and participants share how they wear theirs on Instagram. You don’t have to buy the item brand new, you can use a similar version / style if you already own one. Each piece is super affordable and comes in a range of sizes. I highly recommend getting involved!
