I love a bit of boho style but I often find it’s all very summery with the floaty cotton fabrics and breezy dresses. I would love to wear more of it in autumn and winter as I love all the gorgeous prints, comfy designs and relaxed feel. It got me thinking – how can I wear this style in the cooler months?
Wearing Anouk kimono by Ankoa, jumper by Ezibuy, jeggings by Country Road and boots by Zensu Shoes.
Adding a longer kimono over a jumper is a great way to add some colour and interest to a casual winter outfit without adding more bulk (perfect in autumn or winter in Queensland!). You can also add a scarf for more warmth if needed.
The shirt dress:
Wearing Odessa shirt dress by Ankoa, long sleeved tee by Witchery, denim jacket by Refuge Denim, boots by Wittner (many years ago!).
In this outfit I’ve layered the lightweight shirt dress over a long sleeved top then just added the boots, belt and jacket. Perfect for getting out and about in autumn or winter. The dress is knee length so it’s even great for the playground and park!
Other ideas for adding a boho touch to winter outfits:
– Wear a smock top / lace top with jeans and blazer
– Wear a summery boho dress over jeans as a tunic
– Add an oversized cardigan over a boho style summery dress and some leggings and boots
