Are you getting bored with your summer clothes? I’m definitely a warm weather fan but I admit some of the new autumn and winter clothes are rather appealing at the moment. I think it’s just the simple fact that my summer clothes have been worn solidly since October so I’m ready for a change. But until the weather turns cool there’s no way I’m changing wardrobe seasons. I just need a way to add a little more motivation to putting my outfits together. Enter the SNS Colour Challenge!
Have you participated in a Style Challenge before? It’s a great way to add some fun to your outfits and try new things that you might not have tried before. It will definitely stretch your wardrobe imagination and reduce the boredom factor.
How it works: The lovely Vanessa from Style and Shenanigans has put together five colour themes for this last week of summer (you can read all about it here). Use the theme to help guide your clothing and accessory choices for the week. You can go as far or as minimal as you like. And if you’d like to share your results with other participants, you can upload your pics to Instagram or Facebook and use the #snscolour hashtag.
For some further colour motivation, today’s moodboard features pieces that could fit in with any of the SNS Colour Challenge themes – grey, pastels, jewel tones, nature and citrus. These themes are very much on trend for the upcoming autumn and winter seasons so it’s a great time to play along!
