Welcome to the first Moodboard Monday for 2015. I was going to feature a selection of summery swimsuits however I decided to change the theme and follow the holiday vibe with a collection of super comfy basic clothing pieces. I think it’s been the hecticness of Christmas, a short trip to Melbourne, NYE plans and the hot weather in Sydney that has lead to my outfit choices being all about comfort, cotton and climate control!!
Has it been hot where you are? I noticed on the weather report today that all capital cities in Australia except Hobart and Melbourne were over 30 degrees. I seem to be craving the most non-clingy items I can lay my body on. So I have put together this moodboard to help you stay comfy and cool over the next few weeks of January. If you’re fortunate enough to still be on hols and enjoying some pool / lounge time, these items should perform perfectly. If you are back at work and get a bit too cool in the air conditioning, there’s a few items to through over your outfit here too
1. Renee stripe tank $29.99 by Jeanswest; 2. Stripe linen tee $59.95 by Witchery; 3. Milan 3/4 sleeve top $24.95 by Betty Basics at Birdsnest; 4. Printed beach pant $49.95 by Witchery; 5. Sleeveless pique dress $99.95 by Country Road.
