I always enjoy reading about people’s favourite things. Some bloggers do this regularly and I always pick up great ideas on fashion, recipes, beauty products, travel, music etc. I have compiled a wee list of my own current loves. Hope you find something useful or interesting in this collection.
1. Funkita Swimwear
These swimmers are the best. I have owned the cossie in this photo for almost two years and it still looks as good as knew in both colour and fabric condition. I’ve worn it regularly to little lord 2’s swimming lessons when I had to get in the pool with him and it’s not perished in the slightest. The colours, styles and patterns are amazing. Check them out here.
They also do a boys and mens range called Funky trunks. The little lords wear them every week to swimming lessons and they last and last and last. $34.95 each but well worth it.
2. Country Road Harriet Sandals
These Harriet sandals in gold are the ultimate summer shoe in my opinion – super comfy with some serious bling factor. Shop them here.
3. Minty Stationery
I use this Kikki K A5 leather notebook for work and every time I take it into a meeting, I smile at its beauty. The mint jumper and necklace were for added effect in this photo
4. Bathroom Renos (when they’re finished)
We recently renovated our very tired, very brown tiled bathroom. Our new shower is heaven. It feels like I’m on holidays every time. Might do a more detailed blogpost on the reno with some before and after pics. Stay tuned.
5. Embracing art at home
I’ve tended to limit the little lords’ creative pursuits to colouring in and playdough at home. I left the painting side of things to their days at kindy. But then we found a cute set of watercolour paints at our local art shop and little lord number 2 is obsessed! I feel a bit guilty for not embracing his love of paints sooner. Amazingly the mess is minor and it only takes a minute to set up and pack away. I do have 57 sheets of artwork in a stack….already planning homemade Christmas bonbons.
6. Family holidays
We recently spent 5 nights in Noosa. Perfect weather. Simple days. Bliss.
7. Brotherly sleep coordination
Last Saturday I found the little lords like this on the lounge. So beautiful. So peaceful. My heart melted. Then I raced around like a mad woman getting more done in one hour than ever before. Wonder Woman would be proud. Speaking of Wonder Woman…
8. Wonder Woman
Little lord number 1 is quite fascinated by Wonder Woman at the moment. When we play super heroes I often get to be her which I take on with great respect and responsibility. I saw this ring at Eumundi markets on our Noosa holiday and had to have it. Isn’t she fabulous!
